TECH PLANTER program aims to support innovators, deep tech researchers, and entrepreneurs who create solutions for Deep issues (i.e. deeply-rooted and socially-relevant issues without a clear and viable solution).  

Under this program, the teams are promised to utilize Leave a Nest existing local and international ecosystem for partnerships and support, and participate in its Mentoring and Demo Day to pitch to partners from Japan and ASEAN.

We're excited to announce the upcoming TECH PLANTER in Vietnam 2024, organized by Leave a Nest Group, which comprises Leave a Nest from Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines, with its headquarters in Japan, at Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. Established in Japan in 2002 by a group of researchers with a vision of "Advancing Science and Technology for Global Happiness," we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of innovators within Vietnam's ecosystem and beyond.

  • Application deadline for TECH PLANTER Vietnam: May 17, 2024

  • Demo Day: July 13, 2024 (Saturday) at Ton Duc Thang University - Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam

  • Number of finalists selected: Nine (9)

  • Number of lightning talk teams selected: Six (6)

  • Company awards will be given during Demo Day

  • Grand Winner and Leave a Nest Awardee will compete again in TECH PLANTER Asia Final 2024 in Malaysia on August 2024

This program is open to startups working in a wide range of fields, including biotechnology, energy, environmental technology, food and agriculture technology, healthcare, and information and communication technology. Our goal is to support startups that are focused on creating a positive impact in society and contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam and the world.
