Faculty of Applied Sciences Promotes International Cooperation with the University of Picardie Jules Verne (France)

In order to continue expanding the international cooperation network and enhancing joint research activities, on the morning of April 1, 2026, the Faculty of Applied Sciences - Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a cooperation exchange meeting with representatives from the University of Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV), France.

The visit welcomed the presence of Prof. Emérite Michèle BOITEL-CONTI and Dr. Nathalie Jullian, representatives from the BIOPI Laboratory (Biologie des Plantes et Innovation) of UPJV. This is an intensive research network in plant biology and biotechnology, and also a close partner that regularly receives TDTU students for annual research internships.

In an open atmosphere, professors and researchers from both institutions extensively discussed key cooperation directions. The working session focused on sharing new research results, building joint research projects, and promoting student - lecturer exchange programs. Both sides also agreed on a plan for academic co-supervision of PhD candidates and graduate students.

This event marks a new step forward in forming and developing a sustainable collaborative research network from 2026 onwards. These practical activities not only promote the Faculty's internationalization strategy but also open up valuable opportunities for TDTU students and lecturers to access an advanced scientific research environment in Europe.
