International Student Week 2025 at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
International Student Week 2025 (ISW-2025) was organized by the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), from June 30 to July 5, 2025. The program focused on the theme: "Bioresources: Production, Renewable and Conservation – Intellectual Property Education". The program was attended by professors and students from Jeju National University (South Korea), Busan National University (South Korea), Kasetsart University (Thailand), and Vietnamese and international students studying at Ton Đuc Thang University

The opening ceremony was organized on June 30, 2025, at TDTU with the participation of Prof. In-Jung Kim, Prof. Yong Suk Chung from Jeju National University, Prof. Geun Tae Park, Prof. Cheol Woo Park from Pusan National University, Prof. Teerasak E-kobon from Kasetsart University, and Dr. Ngo Son Tung, Director of the Institute of Advanced Technology, Ton Duc Thang University. At the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan expressed his delight at the large participation of students from various universities around the world, while also emphasizing the importance of the ISW-2025 program in academic exchange, cultural interaction, and international connection.

MSc. Nguyen Duc Long – Lecturer from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the course: "Overview of Vietnamese History and Culture". The course provided a general overview of the formation history and culture of Vietnam. International professors and students were excited and surprised by the majestic and diverse beauty of Vietnam

Students participated in the course "Biomass and Residues: Renewable Sources" taught by Dr. Vo Nguyen Xuan Phuong (FAS). In this course, students enthusiastically exchanged personal opinions on the issue of renewable energy sources – currently a fierce competitive race among nations towards sustainable development in the future.

International students actively discussed solutions for problems related to "Bioresources: Production, Renewable and Conservation" in Vietnam.
The delegation of international students and professors visited the Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve.
Experiential activities included: kayaking to explore the mangrove ecosystem, observing the diversity of wild birds at Tram Chim – Vam Sat, observing rare bats in Vietnam, experiencing thrill with crocodile fishing, etc.

The delegation of professors and international students visited and studied at Got Coffee Company – Bao Loc. Here, the delegation directly participated in the roasting and drying stages, and assessed coffee quality under the guidance of experts at the company.

At the end of the program, students presented their ideas for solutions to problems related to "Bioresources: Production, Renewable and Conservation". The ideas proposed by the groups aimed to address issues of plastic waste, agricultural by-products, water pollution, and reducing carbon footprint in Vietnam and worldwide
